Born Oluwapelumi Olorunda in March 1999 and bred in Agege, Lagos, Nigerian singer and songwriter

Runda is a fast rising act who is breaking through the highly competitive music scene with each new

release. He started out as a rapper and poet in high school and went on to start making music when he

was 16 years old. He credits the influences on his sound to the likes of Micheal Jackson, R Kelly, Wizkid

and 2face whom he grew up listening to.

After graduating from high school, Runda decided to fully pursue his passion and recorded his first

song in 2016 and officially put out his first single in 2019. Ever since, he has consistently churned out

music that has helped him garner a growing fanbase and attention from industry folk.
